AMY COLE | PRINCIPAL

THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF?

Friendly, patient & passionate.

FAVOURITE JOB?

Filming a 'Singing in The Rain' music video, a night time shoot in real rain!

WHY DO YOU LOVE TEACHING?

Watching the children grow and improve each week is so rewarding, it makes me proud. Seeing their excited faces when they finally master a difficult step or perhaps a shy child builds in confidence, it's just priceless. The thing I love most is not just the teaching, it's that you become a dance family.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TEACHING?

To see the progression of the students is super rewarding and getting to know each individual's personality is fantastic. Kids say the funniest things.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TEACHING?

Teaching is very rewarding. I love to see students improve and that I get to be such an integral part of student's lives to not only improve their skill set but also to nurture and watch them grow as young people.

SUSAN, DEBBIE & ANN BLYTHE | FOUNDERS

BLYTHE THEATRE ARTS was established in Elm Park, Essex in 1982 by sisters Susan, Debbie & Ann and has continued to grow with success ever since. All three founders are registered with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) with both Susan and Ann accredited examiners with the board. After 40 years of teaching, the sisters have recently hung up their dance shoes for the Saturday classes but still continue to teach our Adult dance troupe 'Blythe Spirit'.
